Forehead Filling

The forehead is one of the first places where signs of aging are noticed on the face. For this reason, it is one of the most important concerns for many patients. Regular contraction of the muscles in the forehead area can cause the skin in this area to wrinkle, lose volume over time, and the eyelids to droop due to the effects of gravity. Although Botox is the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to forehead rejuvenation;

Botox application in the forehead area cannot be applied to every area, because it can cause the eyebrows to fall. At this stage, dermal filler applications can be applied to areas where Botox application cannot be applied. Or, in patients with deep forehead lines where Botox alone is not sufficient to eliminate wrinkles, filler application can be applied again after Botox application
. In patients who want to reduce forehead lines but do not prefer Botox, filler application is again a good alternative.
The area is cleaned before the procedure. Local anesthesia is applied. Anesthesia is often not required in cannula applications. The application is done with a needle or cannula. However, the decision and amount of filler is very important. Because if too much filler is applied, bumps may form in the forehead area. Since this area is a thin-skinned area, your doctor will make a filler selection accordingly.

After the procedure, do not touch or shower for 24 hours and follow your doctor’s recommendations.
