Under Eye Light Filler

Under-eye light filler is one of the most effective treatment options for getting rid of the sunken, tired, and aged appearance of the eye area. Hyaluronic acid-based injectable fillers restore the volume lost under the eyes and help treat bags and bruises.

Providing a long-term solution to the signs of aging around the eyes with its 12-18 month permanence, under-eye light filler provides you with a brighter, more vibrant and younger appearance immediately after application. Under-eye light filler is also effective in improving the appearance of shadows and dark circles caused by the hollowness caused by the volume lost under the eyes.

Before performing the procedure, your doctor evaluates the middle area of the face. If there is flatness in this area, it is necessary to perform the under-eye filler together with the mid-face filler. In this way, the amount of filler to be placed under the eye is reduced, and the mid-face filler also supports the under-eye. After the mid-face filler, the area called nasolabial lines, which extend from the nose to the corner of the lip, becomes less pronounced and cheek sagging is alleviated.

The area is cleaned before the procedure. The filler is placed with a needle or cannula. It is important that the hollow area is not completely filled after the procedure. Because if the hyaluronic acid fillers placed in this area are placed too much, they can cause bulging due to their water retention capacity. Your doctor will call you for a check-up approximately 1 month after the procedure. The procedure is already established because the filler has settled and retained water. If a deficiency is noticed at this point, a control dose is added.

Although the effect period of under eye fillers is said to be 1-1.5 years, the effect lasts longer in most of our patients or less filler is needed in control doses. The important point here is that there should be a hollowness in the area where it will be placed. In our patients who only have bruising and no hollowness, placing hyaluronic acid filler would be the wrong treatment method. Because the material placed will also retain water and will create a bulge. In our patients who do not have hollowness but have bruising, other options are offered in the treatments.

After the procedure, do not touch the treatment area, do not expose it to water, or apply make-up.
